Life of the Party
4,25 stars!
Jeremy is Native American, younger than Tess and a dirty talker?... I'm sold! I loved this book and not only because of Jeremy. I also loved Tess. These two characters made appearances in the other two books of the trilogy and I immediately took a liking to them . In a limited page-count Kate Davies brought me an enjoyable and well-rounded character-driven story.
Of course, there will be complaints of it being too short for character-development or that the conflict was rushed but I thought it was all nicely tackled. Clean, crisp and without being over-dramatic Kate Davies handled the issues her characters had. I loved the romance and the story was, at the very least thanks to Jeremy’s dirty talk, super sexy. I liked how the conflict was solved as well.
I’d been looking forward to this story since I read the first story of this trilogy and it didn't disappoint! As expected LIFE OF THE PARTY turned out to be my favorite of the three books!
Favorite Scenes:
- the pool table scene followed by the foreplay scene at Jeremy's apartment > so sexy and hot
- the coat closet scene > this scene was hinted at in the other two books, I was really curious about where Jeremy and Taylor snuck off to and what they did and I'm happy to say it exceeded my expectations

Leaning down, he gave her another one of his long, slow, dirty kisses, leaving her breathless. He could almost patent those.
And she could easily get addicted.
